Sigfried Haller history dates back for over 50 years and is one of the premier clock factory in Germany. The fabrication of mechanical clocks and movements has been Haller family tradition since 1874. (See SiewCheong.com – Haller) This particular Anniversary clock was made c. 1960 in Germany. The text “Heirloom” is just a marketing slogan.
The movement was oiled.
There were no bushings added to the pivots.
The mainspring is in great shape.
Brass is in great shape.
It has the key.
The clock runs a long time.
Needs regulation.
*I have not had the clock long enough to regulate the time. It appears to have the capability to keep great time but it will need to be monitored and adjusted over a period of time.
